Praise & Giveaway: Brighten Back-To-School with Crayola

I don't know about you, but a the smell of a freshly opened box of crayons or the pop of a marker top makes me smile. Especially when it's a Crayola product. Crayola crayons, markers, papers and other products have been a staple in my life since I was a little girl. You know when it's marked with that rainbow smile that it will be a high quality, imagination sparking product.

As part of the Crayola Brighten Up Back-To-School campaign, I was sent a fantastic box full of some exciting new Crayola products.

The first item we opened up was the Dual-Sided Dry Erase Board. Black on one side and white on the other, the board comes with some erasable crayons. Eph was so excited to "write with white." He kept telling me how "cool" writing on the black side of the board was. After he got creative with the project, we also used the board to practice our spelling words. 

The Window Markers were on top of Lu's list. At 3, she just likes to scribble, but Eph is really great about making pictures she can "color" in. The used the Window Markers to create an under the sea adventure. (The picture is not great, but you can see a fish).

Eph is also loving the Wild Notes index cards, note books and sticky notes. Lu, almost immediately lost the top to the pen, which made him so upset. Luckily there was another one and I saw some at our local Target too. Eph has been using the notebook to practice math and spelling. It makes doing our homework much more fun.

The only product that we received but haven't had a chance to try is the Fabric Markers. These are a great way to decorate backpacks, shoes, shirts or to show your spirit colors. We just haven't had time to decorate them. I love that the markers can be used on both dark or light colored clothes. We are looking forward to decorating some plain shirts this weekend.
