In one of our Barefoot Books on Fairies, there is a story about a "tangle fairy." This fairy is super mischievous. She sneaks into your bedroom at night and ties your hairs into little tiny knots. She can spend all night making a huge tangle mess of your hair.
My daughter is fascinated with this fairytale. She has shoulder length blond hair and it is always matted and knotted in the morning. Hair "fixing" is an every day battle. I spray it, wrestle with it and there are lots of tears.
The Knot Genie looks just like something that I would love to have in the mornings.

If you’re a parent, you’ve probably experienced a foot stomping-shrieking-morning meltdown at that critical time when you’re trying to get your child off to school. Recount (if it’s not to painful) your worst meltdown and how you diffused the situation and enter your story in our contest. Ask your friends and family to vote for your entry and you could win $500.00. The first 50 people to enter will get great prizes just for participating.
