Today is the first official day of spring and I don't know about you but I am sure looking forward to spending more time outdoors. A few years ago my husband and I added a sweet little patio off the back of our house. Unfortunately, we haven't really had the money to invest in a quality patio set.
Personally I think the outdoor furniture from Pier 1 would look great on my patio. I love the Sunset Pier outdoor settee, chair and coffee table with the Whimsical Gardens cushions. It would be nice to curl up in one of their the Rockasan chair with a good book or my computer to get some blogging done.
Pier 1 has lots of furniture that can be used both indoor and outdoor including rugs, seating and wall decor. Check out this great Hanging Lantern with Stand.

Last fall I was thrilled to find the ChicoBag company and all of their wonderful products including the Original bag, the DayPack, Produce Stand Bags and their new Duffle Bag. I have yet to find a Chicobag product that I don't absolutely praise!
Chicobag sent me one of their Vita Bags from the brand new Blossom Collection. Here is a description of the Blossom bags:
The large forty-pound carrying capacity and shoulder length straps of the bag make it the ideal reusable bag to tote on any day trip or shopping outing. Like all ChicoBag™ brand styles, the Blossom Collection bags stuff into an integrated pouch and weigh only two ounces.I also love that all their bags fold compactly into a small little pouch for easy on the go. You can keep one (or 5) in the car for all your last minute shopping trips. I actually keep two in my purse at all times because it never fails that I make a last minute trip to the store and don't have any reusable bags in the car.
I have 2 of the Chico Vita Bags as well as an Original that we use to go to the store. I am always amazed at how MUCH you can fit inside the bag. Store clerks often comment, after seeing me unpack the little bag about how generously sized the bags are.
The last time I was at Target the clerk there was raving about how nice the bag was and she thought to offer her own little review, saying that she would like to see them make a little loop at the top so she could hang it over the regular bag holder and keep it open easier. Of course, I made a mental note because it is one thing for me to review it from my perspective but another to hear how store clerks like it.
Now this post absolutely would not be complete without some attention being focused on The Bag Monster. This "creature" was created with 500 plastic bags and tours the world bringing attention to reducing (and banning) single use bags.
You can purchase all of the fabulous ChicoBag through their website or you can win your very own Vita Blossom Bag in Chai right here!
Visit the ChicoBag website, come back and tell me one of the which product is your favorite AND one way you can "take action" in the reusable bag movement.
